Day 3 more pictures
My night started with a helicopter landing on the other side of the river and ended to the sound of a cuckoo. The head of Loch Tay was looking very beautiful.
I had a slow start, stocking up at the local co-op and chatting to the Pedalling Pensioners who were following the same trail but on E-bikes and various support vehicles.
I cycled part of the way along Glen Lochay with a Dutch biker I'd met at the coop until our paths diverged.
I was turning off from Glen Lochay to head over a pass to Glen Lyon.
I stopped to refuel at the Bridge of Balgie tearoom where I chatted with a young cyclist who had just passed me.
It was then up and over the Kirk Pass to Loch Rannoch. Hard going with some bits pushing the bike but some good views.
I camped by the side of Loch Rannoch and by the time I lay down to check the tent out I fell asleep for half an hour before blowing up the airbed!
