Day 2

When I got up in the early hours of the morning I hoped I might see the aurora as it was forecast to be likely but I couldn't see anything and it was too cold to spend much time checking. I did get a nice picture of the moon before crashing out the night before.
I was up early and packed up before breakfast at 7am provided by the campsite and leaving at 8am. Second breakfast at Drymen and third breakfast at Aberfoyle! So many great views and good biking weather, I had an earworm of Born to be wild from Easy Rider!

Loch Drunkie
Ben More
Falls of Dochart

I got on much better than I thought and made it to Killin where I'm camping near the head of Loch Tay.
There are great views from the tent with bats flying around (more likely birds as they were there in the morning).
So far I've seen two herons, two deer and heard three cuckoos. Only one heron waited for the camera (just before I got my fish supper on day 1).
